Degrees are capitalized, such as Master of Education but in your situation you would say "I am majoring in Education" or I am pursuing a degree in Education."

To "pursue a major" is grammatically wrong unless you're having a hard time being accepted into the program.

They need to sustain a cause of action. I'm assuming, for negligence. In this case, there may be contributory issues. Were the fireworks fired and watched on public or private property? If public, the municipality may be held liable as well.
I could keep going, but in order to sustain a cause, you must meet the elements of negligence to pursue.
