We Answered:

I don't "know it all," but I may be able to help. Can you provide more details about the case and let me know what your formulation is? (I don't want to do all the work for you).

Toni Said:

We Answered:

Case study means that you need an example.

Edna Said:

need help witth study guide on the civil war?

We Answered:

9. Without the case, it is hard to answer this question.

12. Sounds like you might be thinking of the Dred Scott case.

15. Many social/cultural differences. Their representation in the Federal government (congress and presidency) was not strong enough to protect their economy. North could control the flow of southern resources and material by imposing trade laws that would be more self-beneficial. Simply put, the south felt it was being tyrannized by the north and would fare better on their own.

Careful here, as many say slavery was an issue in their secession. Slavery was NOT a sole factor in their leaving the union. The northern economy profited greatly from both the slave trade and slave labor.

Ryan Said:

Legal study guide questions?

We Answered:

1. Civil
2. Common
3. Malice
4. Contributory Negligence essentially says that the plaintiff contributed so much to the injury that he/she should not be allowed to recover; however, this concept has been widely replaced by Comparative Negligence, which still allows the plaintiff to recover (the verdict is simply reduced by the percentage of damage that the jury decides the plaintiff brought upon him or herself). If you only talked about one of those two, I would stick with that one.
5. Discovery
6. Libel (which is a sub-category of defamation)

Hope that helps.
