Philip Said:

Was Einstein a fraud, poor scientist, delusional, or a real scientist open to all possibilities?

We Answered:

Einstein was not a fraud, a poor scientist or especially delusional (we all are limited to some degree). He was able to conceptualize in ways few can, but he was not open to all possibilities. Einstein had a difficult time with Quantum ( so do many) and wasn't open to it's concepts. This does not lessen his greatness in any way. He was apparently open to the study of parapsychology without preconceptions. That's an admirable position to take.

What music puts you in a mood to study or work?

We Answered:

"atmospheric" music, like so-called ambient music.

Freelance writer: baby ear piercing article?

We Answered:

I am the mother of 4 children (3 girls/1 boy) with pierced ears.
I had my ears pierced the first time when I was a baby, and then had further holes added from about 6 years old. I loved having several holes in my ears as I grew up and decided that if I had children they would also have their ears pierced when they were babies.
My eldest daughter had her ears pierced when she was 6 months old, and then I had her ears double pierced a couple of months later. With my twins (boy/girl), I wanted their ears pierced a lot younger and found a place that would do it at any age, and I had their ears pierced when they were a few days old. With my youngest daughter I didn't even wait that long before she had her ears pierced for the first time.
Since then I have had their ears pierced again because it is popular where we live for girls to have their ears pierced more than once at a young age, and the girls now have multiple piercings.
With our son, I originally only had his left ear pierced, but wished I had got both done, so when his twin sister got her second holes I got his right ear pierced along with a second hole in his left ear. I think it looks good to see a little boy with earrings, and again, it is popular in our area.
My husband was absolutely fine with my decision to have the children pierced, and the rest of my family don’t see anything wrong with it, although they felt the twins and our youngest daughter were a little too young.
I did have some negative reactions to the fact the girls ears were pierced very young, and also when they have been pierced further times, but almost all my friends with girls have had their ears pierced at least twice at a young age, so I don’t get too many comments. When we are out of our area we often get comments about their ears, but mostly positive, especially from teenage girls, who often comment about how cute they look.
Our eldest had her first 2 sets of holes at a jewellers near us, but they have a minimum age limit of 4 months. Fortunately I found another jewellers nearby that would pierce the twins as soon as we wanted them done, and all further piercings have been done at this place.
I certainly don’t regret having their ears pierced, and if I had any more children, they would be pierced as soon as possible.

I hope this helps with your article.

A case of writers block?

We Answered:

Oh boy. You need a plan. Figure out what percentage of your grade each project is. The one that has the most influence is the one you should concentrate the most on. Post what your report is on and maybe some of us can help you get started. Give us the topic or an outline and ask for help. And what's the book report? Post it also, both in separate questions. Study tonight a little for each test and get the timeline finished. Tomorrow finish the book report and study some for the tests. The rest of the week the paper.

Hope that works.

I don't think you have writers block so much as you are overwhelmed.

A question about becoming a writer!?

We Answered:

Sweetie, you don't become a writer - if you write, you are a writer. It isn't something you choose, it is something you feel you need to do. Now, becoming a published writer is somewhat different. You will face alot of rejection. You may have to submit your work dozens of times to even get a nibble. But even then, you may struggle for years to get more published. It is not an easy path - but so worth it if you really want to do it. I would suggest you write every day - something, notes, diary, short stories, poems. The more you write, the better you will get at it. And another tip is to watch those around you. Be a people watcher. See how they interact, how they talk, how they stand. Observe everything around you and put it down. Learn how to balance your writing with people and things. Also, take any classes you can about writing. You can ask your family to subscribe the magazine Writer's Digest for Christmas or your birthday. It's a great help. And as for becoming a teacher - go for it, it's a hard but fufilling career also. Good luck and keep your eyes on your goal.

Study shows that strong religious belief is linked to lower intelligence...?

We Answered:

You are partially right, Liberty:

And God had it planned this way: Matthew 11:25 "At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes."

You see, Jesus was crucified by the intellectuals of His day and Judas Iscariot's extended vocabulary and education had everyone fooled. Only his betrayal revealed the inner workings of his psyche.

But this global trend does not hold true in the United States where over 80% of the people believe and more of the scientific community express their faith.

Also, the highest socio/economic state is Seventh-day Adventists, who have more doctors in the medical and missionary field than all other denominations combined.

When they are tested by psychologists, they have a 65% rate for in-depth thinking. They investigate and prove what they believe from deep study and facts; whereas only 15% of the general population do this--they are merely followers of pleasing fables.

Have you taken time, Liberty, to do an in-depth study of the Bible code that opens the only verses the Bible says are "sealed and closed up until the end of the days?" They are important and that is why they were sealed: http://abiblecode.com
