Matthew Said:
Adult ADHD? What can I do?We Answered:
You could have ADHD minus hyperactivity, which is what I have. I didn't get diagnosed until I was 17, but it's been better late than never. I was diagnosed with bipolar depression and anxiety, and put on medication for those, but the most noticeable improvement to my mood and overall behavior came when I started meds for my ADD. Not everyone has every symptom of ADHD, I think. In any event, being able to focus on schoolwork (and driving) absolutely boosted my mood. The stimulant effect didn't hurt, either.Unfortunately, I really don't know a good alternative. I'd look into a free testing facility, or one that's covered by your insurance. If you do have insurance, most of the medication (if that's the route you choose, of course) is pretty cheap. I think I pay about $7 per refill for one of them.

How do I explain , that I cannot move on without this ?We Answered:
If you can solve the problem by wearing lenses then I think you should tell your parents you need them. They can help you function while you work out your issue with eye colour. If it's not completely worked out by the time you're older you can get the colour changed through surgery. I don't think you should worry though because you may work through this and actually not be too bothered about eye colour since most people aren't. In fact it might even be you start liking your eye colour in those rare moments you think about it.Hazel Said:
Can anyone translate this psychology case study section for me....?We Answered:
I am confused in that Cr-CBT was not defined in your blurb, but it seems like there were three groups, I-CBT, I-PI, and Cr-CBT. Statistically, each of these were a condition and the people treated by each condition or therapy were a cell. They tried to make each cell equal in size, which meets a statistical requirement (if each cell is a different size, it makes the calculation more difficult[who cares if a computer is doing it] but also may make the interpretation more difficult, which is our main concern). So the cell size of condition I-CBT was 68, for I-PI was 65, and we do not know for CR-CBT.Each person in, let's say I-CBT, was matched with a person in the I-PI cell and the Cr-CBT cell based on treatment duration (all three people were in treatment in their respective condition for the same time). Under these conditions, they found that fewer therapists were need in the Cr-CBT treatment-condition than in the other two.
As an aside, my bet is that Cr-CBT is group therapy using Cognitive Behavior Therapy.
I hope this helped.
