Your completely right, the vaccine should be given to females BEFORE they are sexaully active. The recommended ages are 9-26 at this time. The clinical studies for "Gardasil" were on females ages 16-23 and appear to be effective for up to 5 years at this time. Any longer than that, time will tell. I applaud this vaccine! Also, the vaccine doesn't protect against all strains, just certain ones.Here is some great info on the vaccine, side effects etc.

yep HPV SUCKS!!! and it sucks that people dont really know about it....but more people should read about it because it is soo common among women....
