Definition Of Case Study
Ivan Said:
Few tricky Psychology questions?We Answered:
the first question is c)recognize errors in our own ideas. Scientists do experiments to test their theories and if the experiment doesn't support their theory they might have to move on from that theory. It isn't B, because there are a lot of theories out there that can't be scientifically tested. The second question is c)operational definition. You're correct.
The third question is b)replication. This is because the more something is replicated and comes back with the same findings, the more reliable the theory is. If a study isn't replicated, it may have been a freak occurrence that caused the results. It isn't d)case study, because a case study usually does not have statistically significant findings.
The fourth question is b)causes & effects. The purpose of an experiment is to determine causality. No other research method can determine causality. The experiment can determine which variable is the cause and which is the effect. It isn't D because, although there are representative and random samples used in experiments, the experiment isn't trying to distinguish between the two groups.
The fifth question is c)reduce likelihood of preexisting differences between groups of participants. The purpose of random assignment into experimental groups is to make sure that the two groups are as similar as possible. This doesn't always occur, but it is much more likely that the two groups will not have large differences if they are randomly assigned. It isn't d) increase likelihood that different groups have same number of participants, because the experimenter will randomly assign them in groups that are about equal in number anyway. That isn't part of random assignment.
Hope this helps!

what method is it for a review article? We Answered:
If I understand what you mean by "review" correctly--that is, a review of available research--then it doesn't meet the usual definition of "research." Review is a different kind of activity. It is its own "method," I guess.Nevertheless, there is, of course, some methodology that you will employ and probably need to describe. There will be some way that you assemble potential research to review (e.g., you may only select certain journals, going back a certain number of years; you may perform a search in a particular catalog using particular keywords; etc.), and there will be some way that you decide which research articles to include in your review (all; those that are cited a certain number of times in a citation index; those that follow a particular methodology or meet certain methodological criteria; etc.).

what is the definition of e-banking?We Answered:
e-banking is internet banking. You can access your account over the internet. You need to get hold of your bank, they will give you a special number to call, have all the information in front of you, cause when you get the 1-800 number on the line they will ask a lot of questions. Then you will push numbers on your telephone and must be on internet at same time, cause who ever you talk to will walk you throught the steps. Then they give you a secret password and numbers and all kinds of stuff. It takes about an hour, to set this up but once its done you will have your bank account on your computer and you can pay bills, etc. phone, hydro, gas, internet, cable and any other bills you may have. If you can't get to the bank when your bill is due. this is a great way to pay the bill. Also you will have ready access to your bank balance and if the bank needs to get hold of you they send and e-mail into your account on your bank site, not your regular email account. They never ask for more information. If that is needed they usually send a letter and you need to go to the bank. Never give out any information on your account to anyone. Your bank doesn't.When you are set up and have looked at your account then you can clear the information you typed in by the instructions your bank gives you. Hope this helps.

Wow, you just copied and pasted your homework question, didn't you? "Based on your observation do a case study"...? You could have at least changed the question up a little.I say do your research - meaning go to the library, get some books, look online. Don't be lazy and get people on YA! to do your work for you or you could have put this under the Homework Help section.
