but guess what miracles do happen...
im at al hijrah school in bordesley green
and when their was about 30 minutes for the exam to finish we all heard fire engines and we saw black smoke outside.. apparently, their was a massive blaze in the factory next door and we had to evacuate... oh it was great...

we all exchanged answers... and an hour later when we were alowd back in... we were told that if we cross stuff out we will be caught.. haha.. i left spaces for the ones i didnt know.. so it wasnt 2 bad... hopefully i can get an A.. as i have an A in my coursework which is 25%...

i hope i went well for you guys...
the case studies were abit hard.. Mt St Hellens didnt come up :( i lernt that so much...

anyway if u didnt belive me about the fire today..

First, look at the material you copied. Is it actually copyrighted by this company?

Second, call the person identified in the letter and make sure that they actually work there and identify themselves as what they claim to be. If you are still in doubt, ask to speak to a manager.

If you pay them, make sure you get a written agreement that stipulates that you have paid for the right to reproduce and sell whatever you did reproduce in the past, and that you owe them nothing further.

I certainly wouldn't "demand" to know her intentions. I'd sit down with her someplace privately and talk to her about it. Depending on Kelly, I'd either apologize for seeing her email and asking if she's unhappy with the job or I'd just start it off by asking if she's unhappy or how she's settling in without mentioning the emails. If she's determined to leave, there's nothing you can do about it, and that's the time to begin looking for a replacement. If there's something you can do to help her settle into the job, though, it's probably worth your time to make some accommodations to keep her there.

Mei is completely right. It's unfortunate that you had bad circumstances but if you knew you were "Bound to fail" you should have all taken the initiative and gone to support classes, spoken to other teachers of the subject, got tutors if necessary, done independent study.

I had bad teaching for 2/3 of one of my courses last term and I just came out with 100% in the exam because I put the work in, took advice from another teacher, and got together with a friend in another class who was able to help me learn what I was missing in the classes.

You will have to resit if you want a better grade. Yes, it will take a lot of effort, but it would have done to get the grade this time anyway.

as a manager u can't replace her until she told u tht she want to leave job. first i think u must motivate her to work .for tht u have to find y she is not interested in this job . is there any financial problem or family problem or she doesn't like environment of ur office, when u get reason than try to solve her problem because no one join any job until he is interested in job

I would say that your unit depends on how your study is designed. My background is not in education, but in statistics. I could not find a definition of this specific term on the net. So I am deconstructing it.

Your unit is what you are counting by. One item is a unit. So what are you using for your measurement. Are you looking at classrooms, schools, school districts, any of these could be your unit.

So look at your design and ask, what EXACTLY am I observing, what EXACTLY am I analyzing?

You say that you are studying documents or artifacts, so from what you wrote, I would say that your unit would be the number of artifacts you study, since you can't include programs in your study which do not involve artifacts.


But if the benchmarks are student test scores, I would say your unit of observation is the number of students.

The best bet is to take a study of similar design, not necessarily studying the same subject, but a study designed in the same basic manner. Make sure that the study is one that is recognized as being well-designed.

Use that study and report as a blueprint for your own report, just like you might do for a contract, or a job application. I am not telling you to copy anything, because the material will be what you found in your own research.

Ask yourself what that study uses as a unit of observation, and unit of analysis. If you cannot find a comparable element in your own study, then you may have a poorly designed study.

Some researchers confuse their subject matter with the design of the study. They also sometimes KNOW what they want to look for, and confuse this HOW they will look for it. The two are related but not the same.

One of the main purposes of research is to try to minimize the observer's bias. So with a properly designed study, you should be able to hand your study to the cashier in the cafeteria, and say, Here, do this study, and they should come back with the same results.
