Help with essay introduction?

We Answered:

You can start with "sayings" or "questions" or you can simply define your topic.

I want to develop a youth center company?

We Answered:

I think that you should look into Non Profit management, I would tend to think that and Public Relations would actually give you some experience to run a place, keep working at YMCA or see if there are any other non profit agencies in your area, work within the administration like a receptionist or assistant you can learn more about what goes on. Also, look for internships within that same field....(with Public Relations, you will learn development so that you can solicit donations for when you are ready to actually buy/build the center.)

HELP WITH COLLEGE DECISIONS!!!! in case its not clear, i have already applied and im trying to decide which 1?

We Answered:

I suggest you go with the one your heart desires. Remember the saying 'a bird in hand is worth 2 in the bush' what if you don't get it in Wake, and your number in BU also goes, you will then have to try elsewhere, so go for BU

Do you believe women entrepreneurs have rewarding lives?

We Answered:

Yes, they definitely have better lives because they are allowed to approach their employment in more non-traditional ways and don't have to worry about the glass ceiling. Depends on the business though. Being a small business owner, especially in retail, can be VERY stressful and you often end up putting in long hours. Every success is YOURS and every failure is YOURS. If it doesn't work out, it is a lot harder to bounce back from but overall can be a very rewarding experience.

What college degree is for a "Businessman, Entrepreneur, CEO, Leader" type person?

We Answered:

I would favor the educational path that would give the broadest overview of society and its current needs. I would mix that formal education with exposure to environments that would assist in developing a very strong "street sense". Finally, I would evaluate my own interests and concentrate on those that would provide a good wage and would be "fun" to work with. After that, I would put my head down, work hard and have fun doing something that would meet my personal objectives.

Education, by itself, is like a set of blinders on a horse. It is beneficial only when one understands himself sufficiently enough to set and obtain goals which are not only enjoyable, but also beneficial to society. Good luck at whatever your passion may be!
