HelloThe majority of all the banks in London and for that matter Europe have adopted ITIL. In the early days of ITIL in 1992 one of the large banks setup its own internal training organization to teach ITIL. The bank was later taken over by HSBC. Banks such as Barclays, National Westminister and Co-Operative adopted ITIL best practises. There was an increase in the adoption of ITIL as it addressed the requirements stipulated by Sarbanes-Oxley.
