You are not giving enough info for case management or eithical perspectives and where does this son come in??? Does this patient present with multiple bruises or a sprain or broken wrist? Are you suspecting emotional or physical abuse?
This is too vague
As far as nursing perspectives, the patient needs to be made comfortable and out of pain
Medical: they need to rule out Cardiac in nature, lung cancer, pumonary embolism etc.
I hope I gave you something to go on but this is very vague and it sound like some of the peices of this puzzle is missing
