Hypertension Case Study
Michael Said:
Hypertension Case Study?We Answered:
I have been studying the body and nutrition since the age of 30, I am now 74. I found out I needed to change my eating habits which were making me ill. First I eleminated most red meats, used chicken and fish. To white flour in baking I added raw wheat gern, used raw honey instead of sugar. Did research on vitamins and added that to my eating practice. Within months I started to feel much better. I stayed away from processed foods and ate fresh vegetables. salads and fresh fruit. Did not drink soda or coffee, manly good water and some natural juices. The body needs natural food, not processed which is loaded with salt and preservatives.Julia Said:
Urinary Case Study for Physiology? We Answered:
Well when something becomes smaller, the pressure in that tube is going to become higher (stenosis increases bp)I dont know why her kidney is smaller than the left. Something is wrong with that kidney.
If shes on a diuretic, she will lose K, Na,
If you have low K, usually Aldosterone goes up. But Im not sure if it would go up in this situation since she already has high bp
And renin and angiotensin II im not sure but should not increase bc she already has high bp

Would this be a good hypertension nursing diagnosis? We Answered:
Hi MJ,This nursing diagnosis can be improved. Try and think it out. Why would venous circulation be impaired when the patient has hypertension? Since there is a lot of blood in the arterial system then the venous system will get good amounts of blood to "return to the heart."
A more appropriate nursing diagnosis would be, " Increased arterial blood pressure related to impairment of arterial wall disorder".

HELP! Confused on coagulation disorder case study? We Answered:
If I read your numbers correctly, I think you're dealing with a deficiency of prekallekrein? If that's the case, since it comes before factor IX in the cascade, it's one of those things that cause lab but not clinical abnormalities.Wendy Said:
