We Answered:

She's just covering up for the fact that she has fewer qualifications than Urkel:

Carrie Said:

Is anyone still interested in facts?

We Answered:

Huckabee was being humorous, but you Obama sheep know nothing about that.

Still, not one lie you can point out. This article is also full of misleading crap, must be an Obama talking points article. I guess you all were e-mailed it this morning and told to cut and paste it to your blogs.

Bunch of sheep.

NObama 08 or ever

Tommy Said:

Whay do they ask what your parents do on University Application Forms?

We Answered:

Well, here is a very interesting article on the subject. It seems that it is an exercise in ticking boxes and ensuring that so many from this or that background are accepted onto courses, so it's positive discrimination. So more privileged people seem to be disadvantaged, it's ludicrous and goes against the notion of picking the best minds.

Quote:
Students are concerned that the answers to these questions could be used as admissions criteria. Although the question on parents' higher education is optional, many think, as one sixth-former puts it, that "not answering the question is as good as admitting you don't tick the right sociological boxes".

This is typical Labour though. A bit like women only may apply to be MP, it doesn't matter if you're best suited to the job. If your friend has academic parents and she's worried, perhaps she should risk leaving the question unanswered. Let her own qualifications and talents do the talking.

Ruth Said:

Psychiatriatical Ethical Delmna? Being human too! No one is perfect.?

We Answered:

I don't know what you're talking about, but psychiatrists try and resolve the issue. I am planning on becoming a child and adolescent psychiatrist and I look at humans as humans. I treat people with respect and because I went through a bad time in my life, (anxiety and depression), I will be able to relate to them. I want to treat my patients as human beings, not as mentally ill patients. So I'm not sure exactly what you're saying, but if you're calling psychiatrists bad, where they have went through years of school and training, I disagree with you.

Lets get things straight about the scientific consensus on global warming?

We Answered:

Another link indicating the scientific consensus:

Be on guard for Senator Inhofe's funny list or the Oregon Petition.

"If you deem the evidence for man-made global warming inadequate, it surely wouldn't be right to buy into the notion of a huge conspiracy without also demanding the most concrete evidence."

Nice. This points out another interesting dichotomy among deniers. On one hand, they erroneously claim the evidence for global warming is inadequate or non-existent, always demanding proof. Yet their conspiracy theories are not held to the same standard.

I support the consensus on global warming because:

1. The evidence is overwhelming

2. There's no good alternative explanation. The arguments made by skeptics (the few qualified ones that exist) are very poor, and often entirely dishonest.
