I am an attorney (currently inactive as I no longer need to practice).Few jury profilers are lawyers. Many have a master's degree in psychology. Few are psychiatrists.
Psychiatry requires four years of college, four years of medical school, a year of internship and five years of residency. Some psychiatrists who do forensic work go to night law school for four years to become attorneys while they are practicing psychiatry.
