Oh course having more kids makes them have more injurys.. A single child doesnt have brothers and sisters to hit on or to be hit by.
It's no reason to not have multiple children, if thats what your trying to say.
I am pregnant with baby #3 and even though my two oldest are always screaming that "my sister hit me or my brother pinched me", I wouldnt have it any other way!

Is that how they are going to control cost. To centralize medical records? The likely hood of getting a duplicate lab is unlikely since few of us have more than one primary care doctor. The real reason why the price of medicine is going up faster than other industries is that it is limited on outsourcing it's staff. Right now they are trying to do what they can to send their work outside of the US. Insurance have tried to send patients into India and in California, the evil Wellpoint has been successful in sending their patients into Mexico. X-rays are now sometime sent to India. What I am concern is that it is suppose to be read by an radiologist certified in the US, but what really happens is an uncertified doctor reads it and the certified one just signs off. The reason I am so against national health care is that in England they outsource their pap smear into India. I've seen what third world labor has done to American medicine and do not want people caring for me with a third world education. Some of the colleges in these countries open up recently and just hand out diplomas for a fee, and some countries have organization to help people cheat in their board. Philippine government officials was caught last year helping nurse cheat on our board exam. That is how we try to reduce our medical cost. By letting in unqualified people treat us. other programs government has tried has failed. One is to give one flat fee for treating a patient, no matter how much it cost to treat them. That lead bad hospitals just to do bare minimum treatment to get the money and bankrupt the good ones. Hillaries plan during the Clinton years force hospital to fire employees who do the same job as another. That lead to a huge increase in Hospital cause death. The people who do duplicate job as another employee was there to double check the work to prevent mistakes.
As for your smoking, I live in California and it feels like Marijuana is more legal than tobacco here. seeing how liberla thinks, you would be pariah, but we would have a huge budgit to treat drug abusers. With the new Obama staffer, Kal Penn, he's sending a message that drugs are cool. I've seen how the government works and they just push the envelope . They take our rights in inches. The say they won't use that information for anything but medicine, and then their will be excuses made. THe wrong people will get access on some idiotifc pretense. WHoles in the system would be left open . New laws would be made for exceptions to the invasion of privacy.

All Universities do this. It's because they want to give their locals a better chance at getting accepted. The chances of someone who already lives in the area choosing to stay and work in that area after graduation are better than someone who doesn't live there. They do it for their own community basically.
