Statistics Please HELP!!?We Answered:
OK, so do you remember how to calculate a z-score.z = (observed score - mean of distribution) / standard deviation.
So for your first question, your z score = 0. When would the z score be 0? When your score = mean of the distribution. So the test score must have been 77. The second part of the first question requires some assumptions. If you assume a normal distribution, then the mean of the distribution = median of the distribution, so your percentile is 50%. That is, half the scores are above, half are below.
For the 2nd question, calculate the z-score for each test.
Z (advertising) = (70 - 65) / 5 = 1. The score is 1 standard deviation above the mean.
Z (PR) = (70 - 60) / 10 = 1. ditto to the previous advertising test.
Both scores are equivalent after conversion to the z-score.

Crisis Management - PR.?We Answered:
Well, in 1982 seven people in Chicago died after they used tained Tylenol. (I believe that the Tylenol had cyanide in it.) At that time, the Tylenol containers did not have all of the protective packaging that it has now, so somebody was able to pick theTtylenol containers off the shelf, put the poison in them, and then put the containers back on the shelf for somebody to buy. This was the crisis. Here is now the crisis was handled from a PR perspective:
Johnson & Johnson, the parent company, distributed warnings to hospitals and distributors and halted Tylenol production and advertising. On October 5, 1982, it issued a nationwide recall of Tylenol products; an estimated 31 million bottles were in circulation, with a retail value of over US$100 million. The company also advertised in the national media for individuals not to consume any products that contained Tylenol. When it was determined that only capsules were tampered with, they offered to exchange all Tylenol capsules already purchased by the public with solid tablets.

Does anybody know McDonald's PR contact details i.e their email or contact number.?We Answered:
I'm going to do you a huge favor here even though you may not see it that way. Are you familiar with the famous old saying “Give a man a fish; you have fed him for today. Teach a man to fish; and you have fed him for a lifetime"? I've done PR for more years than I would like to admit. I could do the legwork and look it up for you, but I am assuming if you need this info for a study you are educating yourself for some career where you will need to know how to reach similar people in the future. So say I was in your your shoes and I had no resources on hand. The first thing I would do is do a web search for the McDonald's corporation. I would specifically do a detailed Google or search engine of your choice and use key words such as "McDonald's executive offices public relations." I would then go through what I got. If there was no direct link I would find the company headquarters, call them, and ask who handles their PR, get a direct line, and if possible a name of someone.
And in other cases if you can't find the info online I would suggest calling a local business and ask for a manager and ask for a number for the executive offices. Just noticed you location but I am sure there are McD offices in your corner of the world, even though they may not be the main ones. I would call and if they can't provide the info you need and direct you to the states I would ask for them to give you an exact person who should be able to help.
I hope you understand why I am not just looking this up for you. I think it's a good lesson to learn. And if I were you I wouldn't email I would call directly. I think you'll get much better results.
Good luck!
