What Is Case Study

Patricia Said:

what is a case study and what should i include i mine?

We Answered:

A case study is an in depth piece of writing on a topic which for you would be the pesticide. You need to write information such as what it does, when and where its used etc. The easiest way to get information on pesticides would be www.wikipedia.org or google.

At 16, is it possible for me to do my own case study?

We Answered:

I doubt you could make it official, though I'm all for you doing your own case study. Go for it.

Javier Said:

Can anyone help with my case study for interior decorating?

We Answered:

Comfortable and somewhat put together. Neutral Walls like a light Taupe. White ceiling. Natural colored sofa, Wood entertainment center, Maybe like an Oak color. I would also throw in a brick fireplace. Decorate with pictures of the family. A coffee table that has drawers to store coloring books and the supplies for the children. Also,
I would put a toy box in there. Where pre-schoolers go, there will be toys.

Chad Said:

What do I include in the evidence section of my GCSE case study?

We Answered:

is this 21st century science case study?? ok if it is.... the title should be a question, eg are mobile phones safe, should we use food additives? you should include sci info about how mobiles work etc, what types of additives are available and what they are used for (including examples).

next talk about arguments stating each side of the argument...for / against.charts, statistics and graphs are good evidence to use in this section (always reference) dont just include them talk about what they show (this shows that you understand the evidence).

next section you should talk about reliability and bias (eg if nokia say that mobiles are perfectly safe can that be reliable or maybe it is bias)

then come up with your own opinion BASED ON THE EVIDENCE YOU FOUND!! this is important - if you say for example that you feel mobiles are safe to use quote the evidence that has persuaded you of that.

reference everything make it clear where you have quoted sources...

hope this is of some help!
