What are the best colleges in California? We Answered:
Yourquestion is confused. There are no cheap best colleges in CA or in most places. Do you want to be a journalist or study journalism--2 different things, most of the best colleges don't offer journalism but it certainly doesn't stop their grads from becoming journalists. The best colleges in CA are:
Stanford
Pomona
Berkeley
Harvey Mudd
Claremont McKenna
UCLA
USC

Best Colleges in California with a decent Art Program? We Answered:
Check UCR. There is a huge art program and there are many art galleries- all kinds of art too. There was just an art exhibition on campus yesterday, and I am taking an art class taught by real artists, and not bullsh*t ones.Lauren Said:

What are the best colleges in California for me?We Answered:
first of all take the ACT, i did better with that one than i did with the SAT. Look at Fresno State,I have a lot of friends that go there, with a 3.0 gpa or better you only need like a 900 to get in, check out other state schools, hope this helpsAlan Said:
whats the best colleges in california for nursing? We Answered:
UCSF only has a graduate nursing program. UCLA offers a B.S. in Nursing. UC Irvine and University of San Diego also have bachelors in nursing (University of San Francisco has it too) None of the good schools have surgical nurse as a bachelors (Loma Linda University has it, but i dont think its all that good) A number of CSUs have nursing, but UCLA, UC Irvine and USD are better.Univ. of San Diego is the only good school in CA to offer a graduate surgical nursing program. There are good out of state schools that offer a grad program in surgical nursing. Those are, John Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, PA, University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI, Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, Case Western Reserve Univesity in Cleveland, OH, University of Virginia in Charlottsville, VA and University of Washington in Seattle, WA.
Going to community college first is not a bad idea. You can finish all your general education there and then transfer to a 4 year school. It will save you a good chunk of money. There are also some great schools with nursing programs out of state too.
