which college of nursing? (Chicago IL)?We Answered:
Well.. I have never heard of West Suburban College of Nursing so I can't really answer your question.. But I am going to Chamberlain in St. Louis right now and love it. Its a lot of hard work but they really concentrate on the things you need to know.Priscilla Said:
What are my chances of getting into Chamberlain College of Nursing? We Answered:
They require that you either have taken the SAT, ACT or what they call an admission assessment before you can be accepted. You aren't necessarily wasting your time as nursing is a very in demand career right now and does pay pretty well.Since Chamberlain College of Nursing is a for-profit school, they will accept anyone who meets the minimum requirements.

Has anyone ever attended Chamberlain College of Nursing? ?We Answered:
Wow, I was just accepted to this school too and I will be starting in march 09. If you go to allnurses.com, you can search for the school and read all about what people are saying about the school. I've heard a lot of great things which made me feel good about my decision to attend there. But on the other hand I've read some not so great things too. So I got mixed reviews, however I'm still excited to be starting! Maybe I will see u around campus.Terrence Said:
Does anyone know anything about the Chamberlain College of Nursing in Addison,IL? I seriously need reviews!?We Answered:
I'm attending this school in July...although I don't know all that much about it yet. I'd recommend you go to AllNurses.com, and type it in the search bar. You can read some stuff about it from students actually attending, which is what i did. Just ignore the students who complain about the price on the site. If you don't like the 7 grand a semester (its college people, that's not that bad), then good luck with the waiting lists and rejection letters from other nursing schools! But hey, from what I've seen so far on campus and the classrooms and all, it seems like a quality program. I believe the lady at the open house I went to even said that they were thinking of expanding the building. Good luck!Henry Said:
College/University recommendations for nursing?We Answered:
May I suggest that you look at nursing programs offered by your state university, which will save you a large amount of money or indebtedness. Undergraduate bachelor's degree (BSN-RN) programs are similar enough that it does not make any significant difference where you attend unless you plan to go on to graduate school for a career in nursing research. You will do your hands-on work in your last two years of the four-year bachelor's program.
If you want a two-year RN program, your local public community college or public vocational school is fine and will save you a huge amount of money.
