yes, it is. you need to talk to all of your coaches and see what they think, as well as put up a profile on some recruiting sites. there is a 50 round MLB draft in june for high school and college players. this is very important.

I highly disagree with the other statements unless you are playing in a metro area or are a pitcher. To get noticed where I live you have to go to high school baseball camps in metro areas. A buddy of mine got a D2 scholarship from first attending these baseball camps and then continuing to follow up with contacts he made there. If you play in a rural area (and you are not a pitcher), go to a couple camps.

Pitchers will only get noticed if you are touching high 80s, or mid 80s and tall and lean.

Recruiting is one of those things where sometimes mere "luck" is involved. But if you have people who have connections, then it should be a no brainer to at least be recognized by some scouts.

MLB camps are very helpful because there's no one there but scouts. I see you having no problems with what you have. You have coaches that would reccommend you, camps to go to. Your chances are better than me, and I've been very successful in my division league in high school.

As a former college player, it's going to take more than that to make the team without any prior playing background. Not only will you have to lift daily, you will have to complete speed drills, underwater drills, fielding drills, hitting (lots and lots), and throwing. Playing college sports is a full-time job. Most colleges usually have try-outs for walk ons, so they will provide you an opportunity to show what you've got. Work your butt off and good luck.
