Brad Said:
What are some competitive colleges/universities in the Boston area?We Answered:
I grew up in the Boston area. Here are some of the top schools besides Harvard and MIT. Boston College and Wellesley are good choices too. Here are some others to consider:1) Tufts University is a great all-around school.
2) If you are interested in focusing on business as an undergraduate degree, Babson and Bentley are good colleges to consider.
3) If you want to major in communications, consider Emerson College. Boston University also has an excellent communications/journalism program.
4) If you wish to look a little bit beyond Boston proper, consider Holy Cross in Worcester or Brown University in Providence.
So it helps to know what you really want to get out of a college, so you won't overlook specific programs that might best fit your needs.

What are some good Forensic Science colleges in Boston and Florida? We Answered:
My alma mater offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Forensic Science. Forensic Science is mostly Biology and Chemistry with some Physics and Criminal Justice mixed-in, though -- it's not just Criminal Justice (just want to make sure you know that, since not everyone does). Criminal Justice is an entirely different degree (my alma mater offered a degree in that, too, haha). You can always try the Princeton Review to search for institutions by major, as well. Just don't pay too much attention to rankings, which are often pretty subjective.
I also recommend Boston-area schools and liberal arts colleges in general. I loved attending school around Boston; it's just a great environment for college students. And a liberal arts education will make you well-rounded, prepared to enter not only forensic science but just about any field. That's just good planning; very few people go into the specific field they're trained for anyway.
Once you've found schools with your major, then visit to see if you really like it there. That's my advice. :-)

Looking for great colleges in the Boston area?We Answered:
You basically said all the top schools in that area. However there are some others that you didn't mention.Have in mind that different schools are good in different subjects. For example if the person who wants to attend college wants to continue his studies in engineering or science I suggest he attends MIT instead of Harvard. (It is just a hypothetical example.)
