It depends on what you want to study. Personally, my favorite college is The National University of Ireland Galway (NUIG). It offers a wide variety of courses and Galway is a very student-orientated city. I have gone to a lot of open days this year, and I was seriously impressed by Galway. And it really will give you a better experience of Ireland- Galway has really held onto the culture better than cities such as Dublin. I'm not sure about archeology, but just go to their website www.nuigalway.ie.
