There are multiple colleges you can attend and I'm not sure which is the best as far as zoology. You could try Ole Miss, USM, MSU, MC, Millsaps, etc.! :) I'd probably research and see which is the best, but I'm assuming maybe either Ole Miss or MSU, though I'm a Southern grad!

To be a psychiatrist, you will need to get a Bachelor's degree and then apply to medical school. Medical School will be 4 years to get your MD. You then apply for a residency in Psychiatry and then further specialized training in child psychiatry.

You may want to consider Child PSYCHOLOGY. Many colleges offer a degree in psychology and then you would need to go on to get a master's degree or perhaps PhD in Child Psychology.
