What are some good music colleges in New York?We Answered:
Do you mean the city, or the state?NYC has some great music colleges, but what specifically do you want to study? I mean, if you're a performer, but into rock/pop/jazz or other contemporary forms, then Manhattan School of Music may not be a fit; but if you're into classical performance, then it will be. So that's something you need to consider, and when you look at each school, find out if they offer the specific programs you want:
Mannes School of Music, Manhattan School of Music, Juilliard, New York University (has a strong SOM in it), the New School of Jazz and Contemporary Music, Columbia U, all good schools, all in the city.
If you mean the state, also look at Ithaca, Eastman School of Music, SUNY Purchase, Bard, Vassar, Cornell, Concordia College.
Think about whether you want a music major within a broader university (Bard), a pure music conservatory (Juilliard), or a music conservatory environment within a broader uni (NYU).

What are some good colleges in New York and South Carolina? We Answered:
In NYC, the best journalism school is Columbia University, followed by NYU. In SC, you've got the College of Charleston, which is a liberal arts school, probably doesn't have a specific journalism program but has a good writing program.Wade Said:

What community colleges in New York offer part-time/evening degree courses? We Answered:
Almost every community college does. Many community college students work full time, so they tend to offer a high proportion of their classes in the evening.Felicia Said:
What are good colleges in new york city and florida? We Answered:
I do not recommend Johnson and Wales Miami campus-- its so ghetto and they charge an arm and a leg for shitty services. The education isn't bad, but the accommodations, the area its in, the school itself, is all really old and shady.I recommend:
UCF- orlando
Nova Southeastern- Ft. Laurderdale
FL International Univ.- Miami
St. Leo Univ.- Dade City
New York Univ.(smart smart school)- Greenwich Village NYC
SUNY- varied NY locations.
I recommend you look at collegeboard.com and look for schools in those areas that have the major or classes your interested in taking. Also, if you get a chance, visit your top schools to make the best decision. I had started out hell-bent against going to the college I ended up visiting and loving! Once you've gotten all the facts, you'll know. And talk to admissions counselors with the different schools, they can also get you in touch with students who already attend so you get a well-rounded perspective of where you would fit in the best.
Good luck!
