Universities usually cover the more theoretical fields while colleges usually cover the more practical, hands-on fields. Since there aren't many practical uses for literacy study, colleges don't offer the program.If you really want to study an English program, you have a couple of options. You can try taking a 5th year of high school, depending on how many U level credits you need, or you can attend college for a year or two and then transfer to a university. It would be best to discuss your options with your guidance counselor.
