Colleges In Virginia

Natalie Said:

What colleges in Virginia offer journalism as a major ?

We Answered:

Most of the better schools in the state (and the best schools in Virginia are pretty pathetic by national standards) do not offer undergraduate journalism programs. Indeed journalism is not an an undergraduate major at most of the better universities in the United States, where graduate programs in journalism seek students with a good liberal arts background and are unlikely to admit students with undergraduate journalism degrees..

I found another list of schools that listed zoology among the courses offered including Christopher Newport, William & Mary, George Mason, Hampton, Hollins (Roanoke), and Liberty.

Harvey Said:

What Virginia colleges have good veterinary science courses?

We Answered:

I think Virginia Tech is the only school in the state that offers courses in veterinary science. There aren't many vet schools in the country, which is why it is so competitive getting into veterinary school.
