If you can get into nit or dce it is nice.Please dont get into a college that is not approved by AICTE,it will cause you trouble anytime.People with degrees from aicte approved institutions alway have an edge over non-aicte guys.Its a nice institute with good curriculum in par with aicte accredited institutes but still i feel it involves a fair amount risk in doing a course there.Just dont go by my suggestion do a clear inquiry on several institutions and do your course from the best ones.Best of luck

at 3000 it ll b difficuilt 2 get iiit......bt can u specify ur state rank coz ur state rank play imp. role......
n dnt forget my college i.e D.C.E if u r outside delhi student
at 3000+ u might hav a chance 2 get dce comp or it.n i cant tell abt hostel condition of other coll. bt in DCE they r at gud cond.

NITs are one of the best in India, I don't think DAIICT is better than those. I don't know about DCE.

Is there a Government Education Agency that these Colleges report to, especially since they are Engineering Courses? Also, have you tried your local newspaper? What about the library?
