Essex County College

Luis Said:

essex county college is it a good colledge?

We Answered:

Essex County College is a community college, because if you are from MD then you know. Good fashion design schools are very expensive, so community college won't be a good choice. I'm sorry i don't know any fashion design schools though.

Shirley Said:

How do I get to essex county college when i'm going to take the train and local bus?

We Answered:

Take Path Train to Newark and walk to the college from Newark Penn station

Steve Said:

how do i know if my college credits will transfer?????

We Answered:

Whether or not one school accepts credits from another depends on several factors, including:

(1) Where the credits are coming from
(2) Which courses are being transferred in
(3) Academic policies of the school accepting the credits
(4) Your grades in the courses you want to transfer
(5) Limitations on the number of transfer credits accepted

Your best bet would be to call the school(s) in Texas where you are interested in applying. There are two offices you should try to contact: (1) the Registrar's Office, and (2) the department where you will be majoring (at a major university, for example, the School of Nursing might have a different policy than the School of Engineering, so you want to get in touch with the right department).

Have a copy of your transcript in hand when you make the call, in case they want to know specifics about what courses you took, and what grades you received. It also helps to have official course descriptions for all the courses you've taken at Essex, if possible.

Lastly, be ready to have an OFFICIAL copy of your Essex transcript sent to the schools in Texas. Many schools will answer general questions over the phone, but they will need an official transcript to take any action. You usually do this by contacting the Essex Registrar's office, and furnishing them with the contact info for their counterparts' office in Texas.

P.S. A lot of this information (phone numbers, course descriptions, transcript requests, etc) is often available on school websites.

What is the crime rate in Newark next to essex county college?

We Answered:

I am not sure where that college is, but it is in Newark, and we all know that most college campuses are located in the worst parts of town/city. Look at Colombia University.
