You should definitely consider attending an online college. Although some might say an online degree will be easier to earn, or will not be respected, that has not been my experience. That said, with a degree like fashion design, you might miss out on some of the fun! One alternative might be to find a local fashion design program that has both on-campus and online components, that way, you get the best of both worlds!

If you want to stick with 100% Online, here are a few Online Fashion Degree programs:

- Academy of Art University
- Penn Foster College
- The Art Institute
- Stratford Career Institute
- McKinley College
- Westwood College
- US Career Institute

You should check out Parsons School of Design and the Fashion Institute of Technology. There are also many other colleges/universities that offer fashion design but these two are probably the best.

School of Fashion Design in Boston is pretty good...

Other places that offer fashion design but are necessarily very good: Mount Ida College, The Chamberlayne School of Design and Merchandising, Fashion Design Program...Lasell College, Fashion Design Program...

And there's the Paris Fashion Institute in Boston, but I don't know what that is.

A fashion education is great for getting your foot in the industry and getting a first job. But forget working for Dolce and Gabbana or YSL, your chances are slime to none no matter what school you go to. Getting the high end jobs is based more on your previous work and talent, not the school. You need to be good at networking, have the right contacts, be at the right place at the right time. Its all about reputation.

But go to the best fashion school, like parsons or fit, if you can, its a good start to getting a good reputation. But it definitely won't guarantee you a high fashion job.

(I'm sorry if i sound so negative, but its better to get the reality check now then at graduation.)
