does Grand Rapids Community College have a sideline cheer team?We Answered:
I work for the college, and though it does have Dance Team that performs during Basketball events, it does not have a sideline cheer team. However, if you and others were interested in starting one - you could do so with the GRCC Student Life office (and if you met the criteria, you could even get funding for your group):

Community College, FAFSA, and 7592 EFC?We Answered:
Your school has already factored that in for you. It is called an estimated "Cost of Attendance" and it not only includes tuition and fees, books and transportation costs, but also room and board. This is what your school has estimated your costs will be. Usually you can find this somewhere on their website. However, living expenses are very MODEST accommodations and won't likely cover all your costs if you plan on living in an apartment alone. The only time I have seen someones "Cost of attendance" adjusted (to be increased) is when a student has dependent care costs... like daycare for minor dependents or adult daycare expenses for adult dependents. Either way all it usually does is increase that persons ability to borrow up to the maximum loan amounts (or increase the amount their parent can borrow in parent PLUS loans.).
No matter what you do, or what you request, it isn't going to make you eligible for a Pell grant. Your EFC is too high for that no matter what your cost of attendance is.
