Jo Said:

i'am pregnant and on the wic program i heard that joliet junior college?

We Answered:

Well I know that the community college here had free GED tests but they weren't online

Lester Said:

If heard that Joliet Junior College was...?

We Answered:

Most "junior colleges" and community colleges are open admissions on purpose. They will admit you, because they were designed, in part, to give students a chance to go to college, even if academically, they might not get into a four year school.

The work there will be college-level work, though. Anyone can get in, but you need to be able to successfully do the college level work in order to be able to actually graduate. That's the trick.

Joliet Junior College and sound engineering?

We Answered:

You can go on their web site or call up admissions to find out.

Just a FYI- if you are planning on going on for your Bachelor degree to a four year college- do not major in any area at the CC. You need a general Associate in Science or Associate in Arts degree.
Most four year schools only accept general ed classes from a CC

Joliet Junior College Degrees For The Railroad Industry?

We Answered:

I hate to say this but railroads generally dont take academy degrees very seriously, all they do is demonstrate a strong desire to work in the RR industry.

I would recommend you consider an alternate route, one that a great many of us have taken and that I recommended my son take.

start on the railroad in an entry level position in the track department, all railroads hire summer track laborers.

These people are almost always given first preference for hiring in operating department over someone from outside the company, even academy graduates.

I wish I could say this was a sure fire way but there are no guarantees.

Joliet Junior College class registration question?

We Answered:

Bob,

You can definately register for another class. If you add a class between now and August 11, your payment due date is August 11. If you register for a class after August 11, your payment will be due by the close of the next business day after registering.

You will still need to pay for your MATH 094 class today. If you have any further questions, feel free to email me, aquinn@jjc.edu.
