Since education is considered to be a liberal arts type of degree it usually requires taking a PE class to graduate. However, PE in college is not the same as in high school. You will probably have a choice of several classes such as tennis or even bowling. I personally took Karate and Tennis (got beaten soundly in tennis by a 10 year old who was a ringer, he was the under 12 champion of the state).

Search for the program you are interested in, and then see if one of your schools is ranked. If its not, then go to the web page of the department you are interested in for each of the schools and decide based upon the information there.

Many schools will. Many school with religious affiliations actually have up to 30 percent of students from outside that religion. It depends on how conservative the school is.
