How does a college/university become military friendly?

We Answered:

They don't, they never will. Its just a fact of life that will never change.

Schools that do not rely on federal assistance are the worst however even some federally assisted schools are pretty bad when it comes to the military.

As a Medical Officer Recruiter, I have had to deal with quite a few Non-Military Friendly schools, especially in Minneapolis where there are quite a few of them. It's their beliefs and that was ok with me. I was able to find different ways to work with the students at these universities although I didn't get free reign at the schools.

Is Nashville a good place to live? Any Military friendly places?

We Answered:

I'm not familiar with any military-friendly neighborhoods in or around Nashville. Since there is not a military base, there wouldn't be a concentration of military. Your best source of information on the good, the bad, and the ugly in homes would be a local real estate agent. They are well educated on that sort of thing and can be your best friend when looking for a place to live. Why not take a short vacation in Nashville and find an agent to help you with your planning. Then when you are ready to move, he/she will be familiar with your requirements and on the lookout for the right home for you.
