I can tell you which one NOT to pick because I went there and it was one of the worse choices I ever made. BMCC is like a big high school. When I went there, it was all about what people were wearing, what people were driving, the students would hang out smoking weed right on the campus and no one cared. It was horrible.I don't know about you but I think that when your'e college-aged, your main focus is on learning as much as you can while attending a school where you felt safe and didn't feel like you walking on a street corner in the ghetto.

Cuny has several Community colleges. They are located in Manhattan and all of the outer boroughs. Living in Manhattan is very expensive. You could live in Brooklyn or Queens and go to school there if a program fits you. Manhattan is only a short ride away on one of the finest public transport systems in the world.By the way, living in Jersey is another possibility, but the transportation is worse and if you go into Manhattan you will probably have to transfer to the subway anyway.

The two-year CUNY campuses are the cheapest that exist in New York City. Everything, including housing and food is much more expensive in New York than in Oregon.
