Ithaca does have a program, so do University of M, Baltimore and Eastshore.

...yet the minimum degree for both these programs is a doctorate degree. There are a few master's degree programs left, but they are mostly in the process of transitioning to the DPT. In the US, there are no more BS level programs.

The problem is, most PT programs are housed at large public universities or medical schools. However, there are several Catholic institutions that offer PT such as Marquette, Northwestern, Creighton University.

However, one thing to consider is that you can do your undergraduate work almost anywhere and then transfer to a PT program for your graduate education.

In the US, it requires graduation from an accredited program that culminates in a master's or doctorate degree. Most programs are competitive entry, meaning you complete a set of predetermined prerequisite courses and then apply for admission to a program. Not all qualified applicants will be accepted. There are usually several internships associated with the professional phase of the program which are usually unpaid and are arranged by the school as part of your educational program. After graduation, you will sit for a national licensure exam.

Physical therapy is not a major. You can get any undergraduate degree you want, as long as it is a bachelors degree. Just make sure you meet the prerequisites - different schools have different prerequisites.

Physical therapy is a graduate degree - 3 years in length resulting in a Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
