Peter Said:

I really need help!!! Should I stay in California or move to Colorado?

We Answered:

Stay in California and finish college while living with your grandparents. You have too much to give up in exchange for too many unknowns if you move to Colorado at this point.

Take a trip out to Colorado during a school break to visit them (ideally once in the winter and once in the summer) so you can see what it's like around Pueblo. Then after you graduate you can make a decision then about what you want to do, probably plenty of things will have changed in your life since then.

Man guys I'm super stressed maybe you can help.?

We Answered:

I live in Colorado too. Since you live in Pueblo, have you tried University of Colorado at Colorado Springs? They just started back this week. Maybe you can get in there. The drive shouldn't be that bad. Also, check into Pikes Peak Community College.

Janice Said:

How do you tell a good college from a not so good college? CSU vs. CU.?

We Answered:

Generally, the more selective a college is, the better it is at least in terms of how your degree will be viewed by employers.
You can gauge selectivity by average test scores, % of applicants in the top 10% of their class and acceptance rate.

Andy Said:

What GPA and test scores do I need to go to college?

We Answered:

ur a sophmore in hs and a freshman is college? is that possible? or r u just in a combined program or something?

well neways...check out collegeboard and search for the schools you want...and look at the SAT tab and the Admissions tabs of a school.

for example, for Columbia...you would need a average SAT score of between 2050-2320 and the average GPA is not noted

Jean Said:

Could someone critique my resume? I've been told it has too many adjectives.?

We Answered:

i just updated mine... :) here are a few suggestions.

Penney J C
* for "Ensured the security of sensitive customer information while handling all internal and external calls."
try removing "Ensured" and just say
"Secured sensitive customer account information, in daily exchanges with customer base."

* for "Assisted sales associates, via multiple phone lines, in helping customers’ access sensitive credit information while researching and resolving customer complaints."
try
"Demonstrated proficiency in inter-departmental collaboration, as needed, with seamless transition assisting the sales department in an environment of high volume incoming calls; providing help to customers, in accessing sensitive credit information, while researching and resolving customer complaints." wordy, but impressive. ;)

you can always get detailed, too...
ex:
"duties included, but were not limited to: tech support liaison, customer service (acct. billing and/or product Q’s), accounts receivable (processing credit card payments, sending out monthly statements), collections (updating outstanding accts & prepping for collections agency)"

hope that helps. :)
