Dale Said:

What San Antonio college is better?

We Answered:

Hey there :0)

I just graduated last year from high school, and decided to go to Northwest Vista for my FALL semester which was OK. It has a lot more younger people then any other school, so for that reason alone if you want to meet some girls that are younger I would advise you to go to NW Vista. It's a really great school too.

For my Spring semester I decided to go to San Antonio College which is a lot closer to my house, which is why I chose it. I am in a lot of classes that I'm the youngest, which isn't technically a bad thing. But, it's definitely harder for me to find people to get to know and stuff that are in my age group.

My friend goes to Palo Alto, and she really likes it, but I don't know if there are plenty of girls for you to go for! Either way, if I were you I'd go for NW Vista! :D

What makes Mt San Antonio College such a great school ?

We Answered:

Mt. San Antonio College is the best community college out of the Southern California region because of their high transfer rates (at least higher than other cc) and wide range of classes and more "accredited" advantage if you are looking to transfer. But right now as of the huge budget cuts that Mt. SAC is facing and how other CC's are comparing, it is not the best intentions to come to Mt. SAC because even if you do get enrolled there, you cannot get any classes since you would get one of the horrible registration dates and it is impossible to get one class especially GE's. I suggest go to the Chaffey College in Rancho Cucamonga or Fontana as they are more opened and you can at least get some classes over there (e.g. GE courses) finished and if you still consider Mt. SAC then you can transfer your Chaffey transcript and come here (be aware: some chaffey courses are not given credit here at Mt. SAC so seek your counsiling office about that).

Good Luck

Online application for Palo Alto in San Antonio college?

We Answered:

look under the alamo colleges. I attended Palo Alto before transferring to A&M San Antonio - it is listed there, I promise.

I absolutely love the college if you ever have to take a Psychology class, I would highly suggest Professor Villenueva . For math - Professor Miller & Professor Alvarez. For History - Professor Hines. For Government - Professor Neidhart

Many of their professors also teach over at A&M San Antonio.

Anyway, Welcome future Palamino :) best of luck!

What kind of orientation will St. Philip's college in San Antonio want before I register?

We Answered:

I graduated from St. Phillips in 2005. What you have on your account is called an "admissions hold". go to or even try calling the administration office where you register for classes and tell them you need to access your student web page. They may still want something from you or you may still need to wrap up some minor detail.

Trust me, this will be the first of many headaches like this...they have holds for everything.

just take it straight to the source...they'll help you out.

Is San Antonio College a nice community college? I am moving to Texas and hoping to continue with nursing?

We Answered:

SAC is a nice school. Many of us in San Antonio have taken some courses there, regardless of where we finished school. I took statistics there prior to working on my masters degree, and the course was great.

I have worked with many nurses from SAC and they are very good.

I would recommend you look for housing north of the school, and better if possible north of Loop 410. But there are some acceptable places to live just north of the school.

Good luck in school!
