I need help with the six colleges of UC San Diego? We Answered:
Your chance of admission does NOT vary between the six colleges. Each of the six colleges at UCSD has a different set of graduation requirements (http://admissions.ucsd.edu/dev3/colleges… ), a different programmatic theme (http://www.ucsd.edu/prospective-students… ), and a different set of facilities (http://www.ucsd.edu/prospective-students… ); so rank the colleges based on your preference. Not ranking your choices means UCSD will assign you to whichever college has space.
UCSD has a FAQ for the Six-College System that answers simple questions like whether you can switch to a different colleges or if your choice of college will affect your chance of admission: http://www.ucsd.edu/prospective-students…

Are there community colleges in san diego that offer medical coding and billing? We Answered:
I'm taking a class online w/ Meditec.com. It wasn't expensive and they take low down payments and monthly payments. I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for or not.Angela Said:
what rankings should i do for the uc san diego colleges? We Answered:
This publication gives you some great information about each of the colleges: http://admissions.ucsd.edu/dev3/discover…You can major in anything and go to any of the colleges, you will still take classes all over campus and have access to everything UCSD has to offer.
If you are transferring from a community college and you plan to complete the IGETC you may want to consider ranking Roosevelt and Revelle as numbers 5 and 6 because these two colleges will require additional general education. The others recognize IGETC as completion of GE.
As a freshman and transfer, you should take a look at the link I posted and the website for more information about the colleges' philosophies, activities, etc.
If you plan to live on campus your college determines where you live on campus too.
