It's probably too late now to apply to start next year. It would also be wise to fill out the FAFSA so you have the option of federal aid.

Before you spend so much time and money, make sure the program from SJVC will help you and give you a step up on any facility you want to work at. If you want to work for the state, these types of programs are a waste of time and money.
All the correctional facilities I'm aware of have their own academies and that type of program does not give you any perks.
