I am planning to do child nursing next year march but am still unsure of which uni to go to.?We Answered:
Visit them if you can so you can see the facilities on offer and how new the equipment is.Visit their websites and read the prospectuses for the uni course, they'll largely be the same modules and teaching methods but some unis offer unique experiences such as the chance to study abroad for 6 weeks.
Find out about the area each uni is in to see where you'd most like to study.

Which school will more likely help me transfer to Oxford? We Answered:
Here in the United Kingdom, nearly all universities are public. Universities currently receive most of their funding from the government and other such bodies, and so going to a private institution (I can only think of one, and it's not particularly good at all) here in the UK will not be of much benefit to you. As for whether Oxford or Cambridge will look more kindly on you and your application if you went to a more prestigious institution, I wouldn't worry about it too much.Of course, going to a prestigious university here in the UK will not hurt your application to Oxford or Cambridge's postgraduate programs. However, it's more about how well you did during your degree, what you know, your passion for the subject and your commitment to a scholarly pursuit/to the discipline itself. For postgraduate's, it tends to be far more relaxed when it comes to the application. Far less people are applying, and so it's less competitive. So don't panic too much when you come to apply, usually they don't even want to know how well you did at secondary/high school. But always have a back up. You may still not get in.
Good luck with your application!
