They will be able to help you, and you will probably take a few high school level English, Math, and Science courses there.

you will have to call (or go into) the college an speak with an Admissions Rep. take your transcripts and if possible a copy of the college catalog from you previous schools.

Keep in mind that your credits may not transfer at all... each school sets its own transfer policy. It depends largely on the accreditation, class level, and class topics. Many schools simply refuse to transfer classes all together.

Career Step is an excellent school for medical coding and billing training. I have heard that their final exam is harder than the AAPC exam. That is a good thing- that means that you will be well prepared for the job. They offer out-patient as well as in-patient/out-patient training. I would recommend the in-patient/out-patient training so that you are well trained to go into both fields (work in hospitals as well as doctors' offices). They will even help you in your job search after you graduate. There is an online demo you can take which will show you what their course is like.
