Top 10 colleges in the US?

We Answered:

1. Stanford: it is an all-around exceptional university with excellent professors, amazing resources and opportunities, top athletics, a gorgeous campus, very loyal and successful alumni, and happy, talented students. Aside from all the rankings and accolades, it's an amazing school for its quality-of-life and the interesting, diverse, creative, activist vibe. Its the school I'm dreamed of attending since I was very young, and fortunately I was accepted.
2. Harvard: it's the highest ranked university in the world, and has phenomenal resources and excellent programs.
3. Brown: This was my second-choice university in the US because I love the way their curriculum is designed to encourage you to take a diverse array of courses your freshman and sophomore years in place of the typical two years of Gen Ed requirements prior to diving into your major. It has a very creative, artistic vibe that has been strengthened with by its recent partnership with RISD.
4. Yale ~ Outstanding professors, facilities and programs. Amazing art school.
5. MIT
6. Princeton
7. Penn
8. University of Virginia: fairy tale campus and probably the best deal in terms of bang for your buck.
9. Berkeley
10. Georgetown

Top 10 colleges in northeastern part of US?

We Answered:

Well, automatically the eight Ivy Leagues are at the top of the list:

1) Harvard
2) Princeton
3) Yale
4) University of Pennsylvania (everyone always forgets this one, but it's as competitive as Harvard)
5) Columbia
6) Dartmouth
7) Brown
8) Cornell
9) MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology)
10) Johns Hopkins University

As for the last two, there are a bunch of prestigious colleges that could have been in those spots, but I think MIT and Johns Hopkins deserve them. Anyway, all these colleges are extremely good, and you should consider yourself smart (and very lucky) if you get in.

What are the top 10 flight colleges in the us.?

We Answered:

ERAU
UND
Southern Illinois Univ., Carbondale
Perdue
Arizona St.
OSU & OU
Daniel Webster
Ohio St.
Spartan School

and, although you didn't specifically requeset it, for a comprehensive list of US flight schools, visit http://www.aopa.org/learntofly/school/in… or http://paulyingling.googlepages.com/avia…

EDIT: In agreement with the poster below, I agree that these would not be MY personal top 10, but these were based on reputation and volume of students etc., which is what the poster asked.

I most definitely would not include ERAU in my top 10, but that really wasn't what was being asked here.

Top 10 colleges to study accounting/banking/finance in? in the US ...around ny,nj,pa??please help out?

We Answered:

Here you are :]

University of Pennsylvania
Harris School of Business (NJ)
Prism Career Institute (NJ or PA)
Berkeley College (NJ or NY)
Tri-State Business Institute (PA)
York Techinical Institute (PA)
Lansdale School of Business (PA)

The state you gave aren't really known for their business programs. If you're willing to travel, some GREAT schools for business are the University of Texas, University of Illinois, or University of Michigan. From the list I gave you, I would definitely recommend UPenn over the others. :]

Good luck!
