How can i raise my ACT score?

We Answered:

I guess my best advice in this situation would just be to practice further. Invest in getting a book with practice tests ("The Real ACT Prep Guide" has three) and take those.

With science, the hardest part is picking out the most important information from the mass of confusing text and interpreting graphs. Your reading is already very good, so clearly comprehension shouldn't be a serious issue. As for English, it might be helpful to brush up on some grammar/ vocabulary and practice books can help pinpoint some common issues with that. With Math, just do some extra practice problems for the sections you didn't do as best as you could on. There's only about 4 Trig questions on the entire ACT so it should only be worth a point or two, not a significant amount of your math score.

Best of luck! :)

i am trying to go for my lpn and i need to take the net test?

We Answered:

I took the test yesterday. I did very well on themath portion (I studied hard because I am not a math person) and got a 95.

The reading, on the other hand, was difficult for me. There were 3 stories. I think around 25 questions. And, you only get 30 minutes. I ran out of time and missed 3 questions. I got a 61 on that portion. At my school, you need at least a 70 on the Reading part.

I would practice by doing timed tests. I did that for math, and sort of slacked off for reading. But, then again, it';s hard to study for that portion.

Scores for an Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment MCA II 2 Reading Test?

We Answered:

I'm not so sure either. I just got my score, and it was 1063. If you read the letter, it says that you need a score of 1050 to graduate high school. I felt super disappointed after I read this, cause I thought I aced this test and it was the easiest thing in the world. Passing by 13 points is the worst I've ever done. I just am waiting for the elaboration report that is later to come in the mail to see how I ranked among the rest of the students, and if I did well after all. :)
