As an LPN(same as an LVN) and a physically disabled person,this career doesn't seem to be for you.First of all,the schooling itself is very difficult and in order to get your license you must pass an exam given by the state.As a nurse,you have many things on your plate at the same time and have peoples lives relying on you.When I worked at the local nursing home,I was in charge of the floor and had the responsibility of caring for 60 residents.It is a very difficult job both physically and mentally.
You can get assistance paying for education,you might want to look at other possibilities as far as a career.

i think that is totally stereotyping fans and whats wrong with letting your emotions get the best of you in a book? the reason why so many girls like it is because bella is fairly nondescript in such a way that she could be any girl, namely, yourself. i realize that i do fall into the category of bad capitalization and sentence structure on here but i treat it more as an edited stream of consciousness than an english paper. i am also 17 and have read at a very high level since elementary school as well and i love the books, they are an escape to a perfect world, like all books should be in my opinion. so they aren't incredibly well written and deep but oh well, you read them so fast it doesn't matter. and not all fans fall into those category's, check out twilightmoms.com for total proof of that as it is one of many sights just like it full of adult women all the way up into their 60's and 70's that love edward just as much as any 12 year old. my mom is more obsessed with them than i am and she's in her late 40's and she picked it up because it was there and she was out of books but she read them over and over again for pure enjoyment and didnt lose any IQ points in the process, she probably gained some from all the research she's done about the series.

sorry i ranted and probably didnt make much sense but that's just an "overly-emotional teenage girl" twilight fan for ya! :)

I'd strongly advise you to take the SATs again ASAP and let the schools know that you'll be sending them your new scores as soon as you've got them. The ones you have right now are far too low for any of the schools on your list, and will make your chances iffy at even a slightly selective college. Even if you didn't have an opportunity to study, the admissions departments are going to wonder how someone with your academic background could do so badly, and start going over the rest of your app with a fine-tooth comb.

Alternatively, you might look at some schools on the Fair Test list (www.fairtest.org), which don't use the SATs as a deciding factor. Unfortunately, I don't know off the top of my head which ones are located in New York.
