Kristina Said:
What should I take for my 4th AS? [Details Inside]?We Answered:
English literature or business studiesDarrell Said:
What do you think of my autobiography? (< 1 page)? We Answered:
Yeah, I got it. "Technically" not "The End."I like this a lot.
It's very well-done, which is how I like stuff to be... crispy and tasty.
Plus... there were/are so many similarities to my own life!
How did you know??
Most 'dragons' don't have to go to school...but I did... schools usually named 'St. ___.'
Most 'dragons' do have physical 'about-your-mouth' problems....things burn.
Most 'dragons' are subject to bullies and their taunts... things burn.
Most 'dragons' are certainly never Catholic... but I was. That was a Saint George thing. Am not ready to talk about it yet. Things burned....
Many 'dragons' are never in hospital... but I was. Granny got gored... things burned.
Most 'dragons' never write a one-page autobiography...I haven't either.
We tend to live far too long for that... and we can't write anyway. Things burn.
Doris Said:
Would you like to read my story? We Answered:
Even though your young i think you should write a book about all your experiences. I would read it.Ken Said:
What do you think of my letter? We Answered:
R u addressing this letter to college faculty? If so it needs to be more concise and to the point. Not everyone knows what Mervyn's is. There are many grammatical errors. If your in high school still, go to one of your English teachers and ask for their expertise in writing a letter to challenge a placement test score.Usually there are specific criteria you can follow to challenge a placement test. As for blaming your scores on a computer vs. written pen/paper I wouldn't even bring that up. You don't want to insult the school.
You want them to know that your a very determined, hard working individual that has been taking a demanding schedule while working part time. Be specific with the facts. KISS Keep it short and simple.

Javier Said:
Chances of getting into Cal Poly SLO?We Answered:
A 3.89 GPA isn't that bad really. You have a pretty good shot for graphic communications.Tip: Write shorter questions.. No one is going to want to read all that and answer everything (including me, I read the first couple sentences and the last).
But, any AP classes that you take look good, and ANY extra curricular activities are good. That includes sports, and pretty much any community service, class officer, newspaper, etc. It all looks good because it shows that you can balance your time. And, if you do a lot of extra curricular activities, they will probably take you over someone with a higher GPA who hasn't done as much. That's probably true of any college. They look for you to be well rounded.
