any tips/strategies that worked for you on the LSAT?

Test Sherpa has a ton of free stuff on their site. I went ahead and took their class as well and scored a 172 so I've been telling everyone about them. They have a great Logic Games review in their class.

Reading Comprehension, perceive cause and effect homework help?

We Answered:

Lou Gehrig died of what they now call Lou Gehrig's disease. Another name for it would be ALS. It is a neuromuscular disease. (Neuro = nerves, muscular = muscles)

When you are reading, you are looking for clues.
1. He went to a big clinic
2. He came away with a report that said ....... Look at what the report said about his health.
3. As a result of the report findings he could only do what?
4. When he walked, what happened to him?
5. Do you think he felt he could ever play ball again, or that he would get strong again, or did he want to stay with the team?

Why do I have trouble reading?

We Answered:

it's the same for me as well. I'm a freshman taking Pre-AP English in Oklahoma

First, if it's an assignment, take notes. It's a little time consuming, but it helps if you record important points in the story. Reviewing notes is a lot easier than reviewing a book (especially if it's the odyssey) and if you go over them it helps you remember them and helps your homework too.

On tests that go in depth, try reviewing the book for days instead of cramming. You will remember more that way.

I hate comprehension tests. First, read the questions so that you know what to look for. Then skim the passage and look for and easy answers. Then read it carefully to find the other answers.

And finally, everyone is different. It's ok if someone reads stuff and answers it easier than you do. Just try your best!

Hope this helps ^^

Do you think video Games are bad? If you read this, do you still think it's bad?

We Answered:

Games are good for everybody,i love video games i like violent games and all sort of but i have self control and i know what's good and what's not and that's why the rate the games in different levels.
Games like guitar hero like you said are very good to have a sharp mind and re-act quick that's what some of the video games are for and some of them are for having fun,no game is bad for you that just depend of how you take all the fake world of the game and how well your head is that's why they clearly say not for minors or persons with some head problems.
