I usually try to come up with things that help me remember important information. I put the dates of the wars into a song by singing the dates in my head to the tune of my favorite song. My friends and I also made outlines of the chapters by writing the bold titles as the questions and answering them with the details from the paragraph. Hope this helps...gl with your class.
