Okay, first of all a 100 page book is TINY! I'm entering high school next year and I can read at leastt 600 page books.

Start our slow, don't push yourself to read harder books at first. Instead try small books but try to read more often like once a day. Reading more will improve your vocab once you get to the harder books. Comprehension and speed is gotten by reading more as well. Verbal is reading and writing so, once again, read more but also write more. Perhaps you can keep a journal of what you are reading and write a character analysis essay or book summary after you are done.

It's nice that you're improving your vocabulary. But anyways, aside from doing that, you should probably do lots of reading. Like before bed or something. By doing so, you'll again.. become familiar with more vocabulary and get accustomed to reading and grasping the ideas of what it states. When you're taking the test, don't spend lots of time reading the passages. You should just skim over the passages quickly and you'll probably get the general idea. Just take lots of practice tests as well.
