Betty Said:

Can parents be judged morally evil for bringing children into a cruel world to suffer just to reproduce I've?

We Answered:

Solution: don't reproduce and continue worrying about what doesn't exist, and how great you are for protecting their "essence". In the mean time the rest of us will carry on in reality and do what we can to ensure there is more pleasure than pain.

Zachary Said:

Do you think most Bible critics are aware that some 95% of the "Bible errors" posted on skeptic websites.....?

We Answered:

I think you're correct. The other 5% of errors, the legitimate ones, are enough.

There is of course a difference between the text being internally inconsistent and how plausible the stories are.

We Answered:

Wow this was long and obviously a very interesting issue for you, but I have to agree and disagree on this one.

Some people are simply not fit to have children, and what I mean by "fit" is that they don't have mental maturity to have children. Alot of women have kids for very selfish reasons, and it's these women who should not have them.

On the other hand, although I agree that every living being experiences + and - throughout their life, it is both of those experiences combined which allow us to live.

Imagine living life with nothing but +....that would be quite boring after a while, not to mention that we've not learned anything while being here. And if a person experienced nothing but - in their life, then most likely those are the ones who are mentally and emotionally traumatized and pend suicide.

It really depends on how one looks at any given situation. Most pity themselves when something negative happens, while others carry heavy ego's when alot of positive happens in their life.

Those who are evenly distributed + and - are the ones who can Truly say they have lived. Equal balance is important to thrive in such a big world.

We Answered:

I found your post very interesting on many different levels and as a parent of 3 children I have thought things similar to that. Especially when my children do experience something negative it just rips my heart out. Or when I see all the crime and suffering out there it is a concern of mine and I have questioned myself as to why I chose to bring children in the world in the first place.

But I do disagree about reproduction being a moral thing. I feel that it is a primal issue. As humans we have the primal instinct to thrive. This can be through daily nourishment all the way to reproduction.

And ultimately I am thankful everyday that I do have three beautiful children and have to accept the fact that as a mother that I cannot protect them from all the cruelties of life. Life is what it is and it's full of joys and tragedies.

Do you find the reading comprehension skills or R&S respondents the same/better/worse than other categories?

We Answered:

honestly, i dont think its the reading skills that are the problem

its the typical human arrogance and self obsessive part thats the problem

we are all so interested in hearing ourselves talk, we dont really listento what others are saying, same goes for whenthey write and we read

if we didnt write it, we have a lot less interest in what it saysm and much more interest in what we are writing in response to the basics of what it said

sopretty much personal position over real answer
