Reading Comprehension Teachers

Kimberly Said:

Is the UK Queen distressed to learn that so many school teachers lack basic reading skills?

We Answered:

The Queen backs such tests.
It is correct that the majority of American Barristers are failed teachers.

Daniel Said:

How can teachers positively impact the reading comprehension skills of young students?

We Answered:

I'm not sure if it helps. I'm a student, and I do not have good reading comprehension in the past too. It affected my study quite a lot. Since reading occupies quite a lot of my time every day, I've decided to find some way to improve my reading skills. Finally, I followed some speed reading course and it worked very well. Now I do much better in my study, and it saved me quite a lot of time too.

So I'll suggest you to look for some speed reading course to learn with, it is the formal way to improve reading comprehension and reading skills. Students must practice with some tools provided in course, or it could be quite difficult to pick up those skills.

I can recommend the course that I've used for your reference too. I chose it at that time because it has quite a lot of good user feedback, and it is affordable. And it covers reading comprehension, reading speed, and memorization skills. There is also a website which tells how to get the best out of the course, and it guides me to choose the online version of the course. I put the links here for you to check them yourself.

Alexander Said:

How is Reading First working in your school? Are the teachers stressed over it?

We Answered:

All components of reading (phoenimic awareness, comp, vocab, vluence, etc) are all equally important. Problem with reading first is that there is a lot of extra work, and teachers loose the individuality of teaching how they want or doing any cool units because they HAVE to follow the curriculum. We are thinking about it at our school, and I am pushing against it because it takes a lot of fun of teaching in your own style. That is why a lot of your teachers are probably leaving. Good luck.
