what is a great technique to increasing comprehension and reading speed? We Answered:
A way that's helped me understand a book is reading out loud and doing the voices, not just the man and female voice. But like acting it out, raising your voice when the character is frustrated...lowering it when the character is sad. Stuff like that helps me imagine everything and it helps better if you're struggling understanding a book by just reading it in your head.As for reading speed...like being able to become a stronger reader w/o struggling on words? I'm not understanding that too well but I'll do my best to answer the 2nd part to your question. For speed, read as much as you can. The more you read the more words you'll take in...and then you'll be able to read lots more things-some books that may have bigger words and will be trickier on prounciation. Sounding out words always helps a person read faster if they need help. Sometimes if you have to read a book that has words you're not used to then taking notes helps. You could write the word and then draw a picture of the defintion or write a simple defintion in your own words rather than the dictionary's word for word. I find I can remember my own words than a dictionary's. Or coming up with a phrase to remember the word. Anything that will help you be like, "Oh okay, so thats what ___ means."
'Hope this helps!!!

What is the best way to improve reading speed and comprehension? We Answered:
Read more. The more you read the faster you'll become because you will learn to complete the sentence without really having to read it. I know it sounds crazy but I suppose it's an acquired skill. It works.Lee Said:
